AG) Winnie the Pooh once said, Some people care too much. I think it’s called love.” In the book Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson, Mattie and Nathaniel both showshowed multiple times when they careacts of caring. They both are perfectwere perfectly caring people. Despite all of the terror in Philadelphia during this time, Mattie and Nathaniel arewere always trying to be as caring as they can tocould toward others.

Mattie
iswas caring because she is caringcared for Nell. After Mattie goeswent back to go find Eliza, she found Nell sitting in the corner. Her; her mother was dead; she. She decided that she had to take Nell so she was safe and not alone. Mattie statesstated, I had to find someone to care for her. None of the neighbors who answered their doors knew anything about the family, and they all had enough problems of their own without taking in a child" ( Anderson 163-164). After she goeswent to the neighbors and no one knowsknew about the family or canwould let her in., Mattie decidesdecided to just keep Nell for a little bit. You cancould tell that even that Mattie lovesloved Nell, even at first sight. She carescared so much for her. Even thatthough she iswas a lot of work, she pushes threwpushed through it and worksworked hard to care and do everything she cancould for her.

Nathaniel
iswas caring because he iswas always trying to show Mattie ways that he lovesloved her and gowent out of his way to do things for Mattie. Nathaniel iswas always going out of his way to show Mattie that he lovesloved her. No matter how risky it iswas. The book says, My heart tripped over the...[INCOMPLETE]
