In this analysis side, we will focus on the translation of headlines from English into Arabic. Besides, some techniques and methods, as well as Mmajor linguistic changes and semantic changes occur in the process of translating headlines. Sometimes these changes are related to the translator's‘ linguistic choices or their interference in the translation. In other cases, changes occur to fulfill the need of the target audience, or to achieve the main function of headlines: to inform and to attract the reader‘s attention.
