Chapter Five: Lisanna

Lucy's Point of View;

It was ninth period study hall, I had no work at all. I sat at my desk, twiddling my thumbs, a plan to keep me semi busy for the next half and hour.

"Lucy, it's getting close to basketball season, wanna go see if there are sign ups yet?" My eyes met ice blue eyes as I looked up. Lisanna had a small, troubled look on her face. I nodded, standingot up from my seat. Lisanna and I asked for a pass to go down and check, then headed out together.

"Ya' know...I think you and Natsu would make a great couple.", Sshe randomly blurted. My brain stopped, but my legs didn't; thank the lord.

"Bu-but I thought you liked Natsu?" I stuttered, feeling my cheeks deepen in color. Lisanna turned a deep shade of red, beating out Erza's beautiful hair by a mile stone.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Sshe shouted, waving her hands all over. "Used to, I used to like Natsu. Then B—never mind."

"B...hmm, whose name starts with a b? Bickslow! You like Bickslow?" I asked, wiggling my eyebrows. Lisanna nodded, her blush deepening, if that was possible.

"Fine, fine, I'll tell you who I like." I laughed, my stomach starting to feel queasy at the thought of saying it out loud. I've never told anyone, not even Levy.

"Everyone knows you like Natsu, and, everyone knows Natsu likes you." Lisanna scoffed, shoving me with her hip. I hid my face in shame under the purple and blue scarf I was wearing over my white long sleeved shirt.

"Really...? Is it that obvious...?" Lisanna nodded at me, smiling in the process.

"You two are meant to be together!"

"D-dumb bass!" I stuttered, replacing ass with bass, pointing a scared finger at Lisanna. I couldn't handle that fact that she thought Natsu and I were a perfect couple, "Let's just sign up for basketball and then leave. Okay?" My face was very much heated and my legs went faster.

"Yeah, and then she started fan-girling over "nalu babies" or what ever." I rolled my eyes as I told Levy about this afternoon. She laughed, smiling.

      "Yeah, and you never told me you liked Natsu. Not that I needed to hear it from you. It's so freaking obvious." Levy shook her head, waving her hand in the process. I felt blood race to my cheeks, It can't be that obvious can it be? I thought I was good at hiding what I feel but apparently not.

      "You have an imagination out of this world." Levy laughed at the facial expressions I had displayed on my pale colored face.

      "No, that's Juvia," I commented, smoothing out my black, tight, leather mini skirt. A chuckled escaped Levy from deep with in her center as we walked home together along the side walk.
