During my ninth grade year, I struggled in school. I didn't know how to handle the transition from middle school into high school, I was lost. I had no one to talk to or ask for advice, and this made the change even more difficult. I struggled in my classes, and my grades were not where they should have been. I decided things had to change. After that first year, I was playing catch-up with my grades. I learned that Iit is better to start strong in the beginning and stay focused on what is most important.
