I got my first idea from one of his Ddesigns called September for an STW 10 project in Australia. My idea from this was to create my own font with the word “Interactive”. I would make the font and the word big enough for people to write stuff in it. This would improve my typography and calligraphy skills, as I can create my own font, and I can experiment with many different fonts. It would make me more confident with my fonts and how I design them.
I started to research more into Seb Lester, and then I found someone called Thomas Quinn., Thomas Quinn is an Anamorphic Ttypographer. The design I took an interest in, is the one that says “FACE REALITY AS IT IS”. This design inspired me, as it is something different thanfrom just regular Ttypography. When you move to the right angle, you can see what it is meant to be. From a different angle, some bits of the typography look stretched. It makes people amazed as to how it all works out. It is very interactive, as the audience has to walk around the design to find the right angle to see what the typography is.
So mMy final idea was to create anamorphic typography. I did a little test with paper to see how it would turn out. I created the word "Interactive" in a bold simple font. I did this because I wanted to see the effect it would give me and how the audience would react.
