The four basic traits of culture are: culture is learned, culture is shared, culture is integrated, and culture changes. Culture is learned because a newly born child does not know what is culture is, but she learns during the growing up process in the society where she was born. Therefore, culture is learned. Culture is shared because one person cannot make a culture,; it is a shared values and beliefs in the society. Therefore, culture is shared.
Culture is integrated, and it is not simply random a group of people, and the way they speak, think and do. Therefore, it is integrated. Culture changes because of a new generations, and human beings are consisteantly growing and interacting with diverse people. Therefore, culture changes.
The relationship between culture and society is like a two sides of athe same coin., Bbecause cultures will not exist without societies, and societies will not exist without cultures. In addition, culture provides norms and symbols through people in the society; however, without people in the society, it is not possible for humans to share and learn culture. Hence, both culture and society are like a two sides of athe same coin.
Anthropologists say that it is problematic to explain differences in culture behavior based on race, because it varies completely from culture to culture and it also changes over time. Thus, Aanthropologists saidy that ist wais problematic to explain differences in cultural behaviors based on race.
Furthermore, AAA also mentions that, given its cultural and biological limits, randce is therefore, race is an inappropriate way to label or explain people’s behavior.
Both Ffolkways and Mmores are informal rules and norms. However, they are different to one another. Folkways are not offensive to violate and are expected to be followed in the society. On the other hand, Mmores results in severe punishment if violated, but there are social sanctions to the people, like religious and social.
In addition, Mmores differentiate between right and wrong;, whereas, folkways sketch a line between right and offensive or polite. Folkways seem like a quite flexible, but Mmores dictates moral and ethical behavior, and that ends with a serious results.
