MThroughout my experience of being a customer and a salesperson, I find that people feel much better about buying things from someone tof whatom they have a good impression. My approach to sales is to be friendly and always smile towards the customer; talk to customers about their needs and show my interest in their prospects.
For this particular event, one customer came into our office and made some inquiries about the advertising fees on our website. He didn’t look very excited after he got the quote and was making his way out of the office. Instead of losing a potential customer, I went to have a chat with him. During our conversations, I learned that he hasd just started his business and would love to advertise his business on our website, but he ithat he was on a tight budget. I came up with the idea of paying the advertising fees using vouchers that could be spent in his shop and that we swould sell to the public. My supervisor approved of the idea and the client was more than happy to accept the deal.
My approach to building customer relationship is to communicate clearly and try to understand their pain points.
There was once a situation, where a customer came into the restaurant twhatere I used to work. I recognized her, as she was a regular customer. I greeted her by name and she was very surprised that I remembered her name. We then began a short conservations while she was waiting for her food. From this experience, I learnted that small things such as remembering a customer’s name would delight them and givinge them a good impression towardsf the business.
