As we were having our street sales at waterway, there were two other companies ( UOB and another insurance company ) having their roadshow, trying to grab customers to sign up for their new plan or membership card.

We overheard them saying, "wWah these kids siao on sia. They don't even have salary. " tThey nodded in agreement and a sense of satisfaction overwhelmed us as we beamed with pride.

The UOB salesman nodded and went back to get his wallet. He fished out a $10 and walked to us to place it in the can.

We thanked him and he said, "nNo problem. This must be tough. We can do this together." hHe patted our shoulders and we felt even more motivated.

The word "together" makes us feel that the world is not as dark and as dull as it seems. Someone is here with us, supporting us morally too😜.

I really learnt a lot from such a minor 2 day street sales and I hoped everyone else did too. This is indeed meaningful and I feelt that I have received more than I gave here, which made me feel a little guilty. If you didn't feel that you learnt anything, reflect and think deeper. I'm pretty sure you will learn something too.
