3. A water ladle helps us to pour coffee into a sink. It may prevent the employee
s suffering from a Llumbodorsal Iinjury or a strained muscle.

Coffee pods handling method

In order to improve the flow of work, we will use a handling procedure like a cellular manufacturing to treat the coffee pods. Each process is separated within a single line or a cell operated by employees who work only within the line or the cell. The benefit of this method is to move as quickly as possible while making as little waste as possible. The handling method can reduce flow time, flow distance, a waste of manpower and resources.

First, the received boxes of coffee pods will be stored in a warehouse. Each employee is assigned to perform their job. First, some employees use the cutters to open the boxes. Then, some employee will separate the coffee pods and coffee creamers. Next, the coffee pods are put in the boxes and the coffee creamers are put in other boxes that will be thrown away at the end of the process. The products shall be identified after the laboratory receives the products. According to ISO/IEC 17025 clause 5.8.2, “the laboratory shall have an identification system to ensure that all test items are uniquely identified.” The barcode number of the coffee machines w
ouildl be entered into the database. Besiandes, the labels will be printed and stuck on the body of the machines after the them plroyeduct boxes are opened by the emproduct bloxyees. Next, the machines will hit the shelves based on the label information. Also, the tester will brew 6 Ooz. of water for the new coffee machines. Then, the machines will be tested on the starting day.

After testing the performance of the machines, some of the machines will be pulled from the shelves and wrapped with plastic film. The elastic plastic film helps to keep the machines tightly bound and prevents
it breakage. Finally, the machines will be recycled by the company.
