Hi Yoeal,
Thank you for the feedback above. I will not deny that all the feedback I got was honest and I will fix all the communication faults I have.
Though I believe theses are more of challenges than faults. Do not think of this as a way of trying to defend my poor understanding of office etiquette but as a way of trying to show another side that you may not be aware of.
1. For the past few weeks, I have not been havingd WiFi access at the apartment. I usually come ato the office at 9:00 am (GMT+2) and leave at around 4:00-5:00 pm. Check-in's and meetings are usually at 10:00 pm (Mauritian time), therefore, that means I will have to be at the office before 8:00 am (S.A Time) since I can only access WiFi at the office. I wilould then have to walk for 20 minutes everyday to the shops so Ias ctould buy daily data to call an Uber from my phone.
When the other students arrived last week, there was a 2G WiFi provided for the three of us provided but it could only last us a week since we all have a lot of work to do.
2. For the past 2 weeks, I have been having terrible dental problems. Some days I spend the whole night awake because the pain is unbearable but I still I will go to the office for WiFi access since I know everyone is depending on my daily report.
I believe this is the main reason why communication is slacking from my side.
