At Bard College I imagine myself being surrounded by individuals who come from all walks of life with a social and cultural background different from mine.I visualize an academic community that challenges the conventional norms of society and looks for ways to improve the world amongst us. People who listen and respect a different point of view; a college where everyone has a right to share their opinions and beliefs. Likewise, I picture being amongst people who have zero tolerance for racism,sexism, and any other behavior that is deemed hateful. I imagine living in an area far from home, a scenic campus in upstate New York, where I can grow into a whole person and improve my skills as a writer. Living,learning, and loving everything that Bard College has to offer.
