It was a dark and a cold winter. Sigurd was really exhausted, after few hours of chopping trees. His parents were sick and they were resting in the cold house, which needed to be heated. Sigurd loved his parents, they were everything to him and he would have done everanything for them.

Sigurd had a sister and her name was Margareth. Margareth was cooking soup ain the homuse for their parents. She was also trying to find a cure for the sickness that they had, but it had not gone so well.

Two days went on as usual. Margareth cooked soup and Sigurd was choppinged trees, but their parents were just getting sicker.

On the third day, on the way home from the forest, Sigurd noticed something twinkle behind an old tree. He was tired, as always after chopping trees, but he was really curious about this mysterious twinkling. He left the firewood to see what was behind the tree. The twinkling became brighter and brighter the closer he came. With smaller and smaller steps he approacamhed tohe tree and was shocked.
