As broken as society is today, would it be wise to lower the drinking age? Many would argue that the drinking age should be lowered because 18 is the age of adulthood in the United States, and adults should have the right to make their own decisions about alcohol consumption. Many of those people misunderstand that although being 18 does mean you are an adult, yet your brain is not fully developed. Undergrad drinking does not only affect the person drinking, but as wthell as people around them, as well.
