I grew up to loveloving education and its effects in developing people. I was sent out by my parents, to live with my aunts in the town, at athe very tender age of 2, just to get a formal education. Growing up in an environment of intellectuals inspired in me tothe desire to be like them. During my primary school days, my basic goal was to achieve academic excellence. This decision made me work hard in my academics. As a result, I represented my school in several debate and quiz competitions, notable amongst. Notable among them iswas the Aba District spelling bee in 2001, in which I took part in. duringDuring one of my preparations for a debate competition, one of ourthe neighbours in our apartment, building was amazed at my memorizing ability, and as a way of expressing his delight at that andand encouraging me as well, he carried me up gallantly, amidst cheers from other people around to a storein the stores nearby, and bought me myan item of my choice from their display.
