How did the idea come about?
In 1992, two doctors who were friends, with the help and collaboration of the entire community of Ulianópolis - PA, decided to build the first hospital in that small city, which was born along the Belém-Brasília highway.

In a time of great difficulty, such asincluding the lack of an electric power grid and a distance of 210 km from the nearest large center, each inhabitant helped as best they could: with the concession of the land, earthworks, donationdonations of wood, materials for the construction, labor and through words of encouragement and thankinggratitude.

Therefore, living up to the famous phrase of St. Francis of AssisAssisi, "It is in giving that one receives"," the founders of the Hospital San Francisco offer to society the house of affectionretirement home, CONVIVER.

The idea of ​​creating a long-term home for the elderly arose from their need to do something in recognition of the help they have hadreceived and for believing it would be a project of interest of the entire community.
