We were short of one supervisor coverage for two days, since two supervisors were on medical leave and one supervisor was on approved vacation. The casual supervisor who was hired and trained for such uncertain events also changed his availability for the two days. During this shortage, I was working from the Supervisor’s office to address any concern’s with the front-line staff and was engaged on the floor providing support to supervisors on duty. I have already hired a new casual supervisor and have started the training process so that we are better prepared for future uncertainties.
