The services materielsmaterials commands were moved to a joint domicile and were now under command of a 2 star in the Danish Acquisition and Logistic Organization(DALO). DALO were under command of a 4 star in DefenceDefense Command Denmark. The life cyclelife-cycle responsibility of all materials concerning the Air forceForce, were all placed in the direction of the Air forceForce systems. The establishment of DALO also had an impact on the organization of the maintenance. It was dividedsplit into totwo divisions: one in the eastern part of Denmark, and one in the western part. The responsibility for the operation and maintenance were placed in the capital of Denmark. In 2014, the Ministry of DefenceDefense reorganized the Danish DefenceDefense, and DALO were placed directly under the Ministry, and were now under command of a 3 star. The maintenance division were still under command of the DefenceDefense Command Denmark. This separated the operator of the Air forceForce systems from the operations and maintenance responsibleresponsibility placed in DALO. The international mutual concerns of the airworthiness of military aircraft entailed the need for implementation of a new airworthiness concept in DALO, which now were separated from the direct command of those who maintained the Air forceForce systems.
