When tutoring, it is crucial to be prepared with answers to any questions a student may have. To avoid any disruptions or delay with a session, I would read the chapters students may be covering on my down time in order to be fully prepared for any question a student may present to me. Students are not the only focus of my job, as I am also responsible for keeping track of models, microscopes, slides, answer keys, books, and other resources.

While some occupations such as doctors and accountants contribute their skills to save lives and manage our economy, my occupation allows me to contribute my skills and knowledge to students in need of help to further their education and maintain a high GPA. I enjoy what I do because it brings me satisfaction knowing that I contributed back to my society by preparing the once lost, confused, and discouraged student into a successful and well-informed scholar that will eventually join a program because of my assistance. A little help can go a long way, and knowing that my help can impact other people’s lives encourages me to strive for a better and more fulfilling occupation as an ICU nurse by enrolling into the Sam Houston BSN Nursing program as. I strive to accomplish my prerequisites, simultaneouslywhile competing with and helping my fellow colleagues into a nursing program that will not only benefit us, but the patients we interact with on a daily basis.
