I am the bride’s daughter. I would like to thank you all for your presence. I know it means a lot to my Mommom that you all have found the time to be here on her wedding day and share these memories with her. It also means a lot to her that the people she loves and cares about are here by her side as she has been stressed out the whole day.
To my Mommom, who is looking extra beautiful today, I am happy for you. You deserve to be looking this young and radiant. Most people see my Mommom as a second Mommom, who is nice, sweet and caring, but I see her differently. She is my hero, my best friend, and my shoulder to cry on. There are no words that could explain the relationship between me and her.
Now, to the person who I can say has been more of a father to me than my real dad, I wish that you will take care of my mother, love her deeply, and never let her go. I know that it will not always be easy, and your marriage won’t always be sunshine and rainbows. I’ve seen it in movies, papers, and in some relationships.
