So, teachers, the next time you think about assigning homework, think about the detrimental stress that it causes your students, the issues that could come of that such as sleep deprivation, which decreases performance,; anger, which could lead to in-class arguments,; and how else it can negatively impact your students. - Thethe minds that you are willingchoosing to spend your whole life nurturing. And another point I did not go in depth about is how all of this homework takes away from what could be life-changing experiences, time with family and friends, and other things that adolescents do. As a group of teachers, you may be minorlyminimally taking away from your students' childhoods. Think about it. And to all of the students, think about how much stress all of that homework has caused you and, think about how all of those arguments you have gotten into with your parents over homework, and think about how your homework is actually helping you.
