After we finished calculating the average mass, we went straight to determine the number of water molecules associated with the hydrated inorganic salt and find the formula for the water of crystallization using mole ratios;, and answer the questions provided. "TimesTime's up...!" said Mr. Clement, eyes shocked as hands were speeding and pens running as fast as lightning with answers. It wasn't fast enough to save a life, as I ran out of time; even the four hours were not enough for me. I didn't attempt the questions because I didn't understand the concept and read my notes. I tried to ask Mr. Clement to give us more time but he reminded us that our time is up! My face was fumed with anger but I had to give it in. We all gave in our papers feeling shocked, angry, and totally out of words when we came out. I made a mistake, thinking lab is similar to high school. I learned that it is wise to understand the concept better to be successful in labs, and that time and place have changed; somehow I have to adjust myself. Thanks Mr. Clement for your great help!
