Hello, my name is Dhiab Algahim. I am a senior in Oakland international Academy,. This is my last year and I am very thankful for everything that OIA and it’sits staff have done for me and the class of 2019. As a student, I have contributed into many things here in OIA . I have contributed into a program called Peer Meditation where I and a couple other students try to solve problems between students to keep the school awayfree from violence and bullying. Another thing II have also contributed in was the sheltersto community service. Me and most ofshelters with my classmates; would go to many differentwe often visit local shelters and help Out to serve the homeless with breakfast and lunch . One last thing I contributedI also participated in was the donation program for breast cancer where me and my class and every other class in the school collectby collecting donations and send it tofor the ones in need for breast cancer cause. All theseThese contributions I was involved inhave helped me to be more humble and caring, care for others in need, and helpedI have learned to always look into thetoward a right path where there is no violence nor problems. High school was a hell of a ride for me, I had many obstacles throughout it but I was determined and was able to overcome it and gain the education I wanted.
