‎ The aim of this paper iswas to identify the most important innovation strategies that can be usedemployed ‎by the Statestate to develop and modernize the public sector, andto make it more conducive to creating ‎an added‎additional economic value for the country, and improving the public serviceservices provided to citizens. ‎The state of the public sector in Canada was also reviewed and the most important innovation ‎areas and strategies implemented in the sector were also reviewed.‎
‎ The study concluded that innovation, whether technological, organizational or via marketing plays ‎an important role in the development and modernization of the public sector in a manner that ‎makes it improve its performance toand what is achieved inby the private sector. The innovation ‎strategy is‎strategies are also important in promoting the services provided by the public sector to citizens.‎
