My home town is a small village in the Southern Alps of France called Montpasse. In the past, most people were farmers but today peplepeople earn their living from tourism and sm- all businesessmall businesses. Montpasse is a pretty town with an old castle and wonderfullwonderful views of the The sun shinessunshine most days, even in winter when the weather is perf mountains. forFor skiing, Itit is a wonderful place to grow up as a child. There are fields of corn where children can play and beautifully clear streemsstreams and rivers just outside the town where you see fish jumpangjumping out of the water. On a hot summer's day, the cool water of those streams and rivers is like an oasis. I suposesuppose we all miss the place we grew up in and we want to go back some time.
