There are moments when time looks simple and everything is working out as desired. During these moments stress-ridden ideas such as “how can I go through the ... ” or “what happens when …?” Seldomseldom follow our consciousness and front-of-mind though. Correct and efficient thinking, however, mandates taking into consideration thatthose ‘what if’s’ that occur when you're not asking them. I am referring to possibly life-altering experiences that you seldom consider when everything is running butjust fine.
This Short Storyshort story called 'Girl' composed by Jamaica Kincaid, is about a young lady and her mommother who are experiencing a wide range of generalizations of how young ladies should act. First and foremost it says " Wash the white clothes on Monday and put them on the stone heap; wash the color clothes on Tuesday and put them on the clothesline to dry”. This story begins in the days of old times when the young ladies in those days would be thewere destined to be housewives and would cook, clean, and deal with the children and the house. This story shows how in those days all men would havehad a more prominent force than ladies since we didn't do whateverwomen did little else than housework.
