Phytoremediation and bioremediation processes are able to remove a vast range of organic pollution. Due to its advantages, such as minimum soil disturbance, low volume of waste, absorbabsorption of the sun's rays, excellent stability, ease of use, wide use and help to grow other plants to remove contaminants, special attention has been paid. Various plants that have the potential of phytoremediation of sites contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons have been identified (Shimp et al. 1993). Grasses and legumes have a high ability to remove crude oil from the soil. Becausebecause they have a very broad and fibrous root system. The grass root system has the highest special area compared to other types of plants and penetrates the soil up to three meters deep.
