Some people are athletic, others are musically gifted, and some are even artists; Well…well, my supreme talent is weed whacking. A weed whacker, also known as a string trimmer or a weed eater, is essential for mowing a lawn. Two of my buddies and I have our own landscaping business. They sit on comfortable pillows while creating stripes on the grass. Meanwhile, I am walking around on my two legs, weed-whacking. Weed-whacking resembles Christmas in July for me. Even though I despise it. Plucking grass off your legs for an hour after showers. Or when a bee stings feel like you are getting stabbed. My favorite is when rocks and pebbles are hitting you as fast as a Randy Jackson fastball coming at you. Also, the thought of cutting off your leg is not ideal. Despite all this, I still heavily admire weed-whacking.

One of the most important things to
havestrive for in life is mastering precision. If you are not precise at something, it is not good. What if a heart surgeon messes up by a millimeter? What if a carpenter measures incorrectly? Precision is crucial in weed-whacking. What if I weed-whack a flower? What if I miss a weed? Or what if I weed-whack a rock and it smashes a window, and I have to pay thousands of dollars to fix it? Ugh! It grinds my teeth when I think about it. What separates a good weed-whacker from a great one? Edging! Edging is the art of creating straight, crisp lines between the lawn and its surroundings. Some of the surroundings include flower beds, driveways, sidewalks, and much more.
