There are many different customs around the world. In my country, there are many different types of customs from one place to another, but we agree with most of them. For instance, we should greet everyone,; when we meet someone we know or even to go inside a store or whatever. In other places, like New York, no one cares to say hello to anyone. Another custom that we have is giving gifts when visiting others. It shouldn’t be something fancy, you can give them something simple. However, in some Arab countries, like some places in Southern Saudi Arabia, it’s disrespectful if you bring them a gift when visiting them, as this will make them feel a burden. In connectionaddition, table manners, here it’s good if you respect the food and not waste it. It willwould be inappropriate to play with food and throw it out. Remember that each country has different customs and we should respect them all, no matter what.
