Friar Lawrence is the reason why Romeo and Juliet end up dead. I think there are many things he could have done to stop this. First of all, I think it’s ridiculous that he could end the family feud with this marriage. Second, giving Juliet the sleeping potion even though a lot could go wrong. Third, he ran away from Juliet even though he could’ve helped her get out safely. Those are mythe reasons why I think Friar Lawerence is to blame for their deaths.

I think that Friar LawerenceLawrence should have understood that it was not smart to marry Romeo and Juliet. He is old and should have plenty of experience with marriage, so he should have some common knowledge on this. He should know that two kids getting married is not gonnagoing to change the family feud. If Friar Lawerence did not marry them, then the entire tragedy would have been stopped.

Another reason why I think the tragedy was caused by Friar lawernceLawrence is because he gave Juliet the potion. He was not sure if the potion would work and Romeo might not have gotten there in time. There is a lot that could have gone wrong causing Juliet to die. He could have also sent out multiple messengers to make sure he got the letter to Romeo. That is why I think that he should not have given the potion to Juliet under those circumstances.

The final reason is that he did not stay with Juliet when people were coming into the tomb. He should have stayed to help Juliet, but he decided to leave to save his own skin. If he had stayed with her he could have met the consequences of his actions, and saved Juliet. I think that Friar was blind to the fact that more people would die and be hurt if he left. Even though he was the reason everything happened this way.
