In order to comply with the EU Directive 2019/1937, the Whistleblower Directive, and to the upcoming Whistleblower Protection Act, the Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz, in Germany, the company establishes an internal procedure to receive and investigate whistleblower reports from employees.
Kindly note that this policy considered the draft of the Whistleblower Protection Act under review by the German authorities, and it will update once the law is in effect.
Material scope.: Through an internal procedure to receive and investigate whistleblower reports, an employee will be able to report any unlawful or abusive act or a corresponding omission that occurred during the activity.
Whistleblower.: Any employee or third party who passes on information concerning wrongdoings.
