Process engineer
• Prepare process flow diagrams and detailed mass and heat balance calculations for petrochemical plants.
• Define, as a member of the task force, the optimal project configuration of a steam-cracking process with a CAPEX of 2400 MUSD.
• Conduct process simulation using Aspen HYSYS software to increase process yield and heat transfer efficiency of methanol production units.
• Provide engineering services in the design and the installation of a new water cooling tower.
• Perform a technical and economic study of a new installation for the recovery of boil-off ethylene with an actual net value of 6715 MUSD.
• Monitor a water desalination unit by taking measurements of specific variable metrics to interpret data and make assumptions about process efficiency and effectivity.

Process engineer trainee

• Identify process abnormalities of the Isobutane/Off-Gas purification unit.
• Optimize the separation process of a gas flow and minimize the Isobutane gas loss.
• Simulate propane refrigeration circuit using ASPEN HYSYS and suggest modifications to decrease the energy loss with more than 60%.
